About Michael Kugel

I'm a Business and Planning Analyst at M&T Bank focusing on reporting and analytics, data integrity, and process development and improvement. I'm heavily involved in the Diversity and Inclusion efforts at the bank on several levels and co-founded the Pride Resource Group, helping to grow it from 30 members to over 600 in seven years of leadership. I’m the Quality Assurance Officer and vendor relationship manager for MERSCORP and responsible for securing outstanding audit results over the last several years. I created and grew a department that delivers unparalleled service, helping the bank to increase it’s active servicing portfolio by 48% over five years. I've managed the new loan registration area of M&T Bank's national mortgage division encompassing retail, wholesale, and correspondent lines of business. At that time I also led the operations side of our systems project team serving as a business liaison between our technology and operations teams, developing test plans for system updates, and leading project teams of between five and twenty people to implement those plans.
