Experience from the current position in Finance HUB & Center of Excellence in Prague for the Swedish Corporate in a nutshell- currently leading the team of 4 members as VAT Process Lead, responsible to Group Tax Dep- consultancy, preparation of supporting VAT data and knowledge of processing of VAT returns/reports for entities in 18 EMEA countries. This covers Intrastat reports, ESL reporting and Control Statements, where applicable - directly supporting largest Epiroc Product companies worldwide on various VAT topics - accounting and VAT balance sheet ledgers reconciliation; monthly closing activities - active communication with Group Tax Department in Essen on in-depth analysis of VAT chain transactions - ensuring that ERP systems are VAT compliant - dealing with local Tax Offices within related inquiries - cooperation and active approach towards AtR/GL, AP/PtP, IT dep, Business dep. and OtC/AR teams within VAT process improvements & education - participation on company VAT projects (e.g. SAFT implementation in Norway, MTD realization in the Great Britain, M3 ERP testing, 8th Directive claims realization, VAT ID Batch checker etc.)- advanced knowledge of ERP SAP, BPCs, M3; Excel, BI and (power) pivot tables - German language: B1, currently endeavor to improve - active participation on various VAT trainings and courses to maintain the knowledge.
