This includes both mechanical engineering and component manufacturing industries. I look for the balance between the technical issues of customers and the realistic possibilities from the available technologies. In doing so, I think and act in a structured way. From my CV you can conclude that I have extensive experience with product development, engineering, production and operations management. My strong analytical ability makes me solution-oriented and I strive for practical solutions that relieve the customer as much as possible. In my approach I like to focus on optimizing the work processes. I have an eye for the individual person and speak the language of the customer, the management as well as the work floor. Working in a team, I have the ability to keep different interests transparent. I will act pragmatically, but also be critical. I have a good feeling for strategic opportunities and can use the room for calculated risk in a technical-commercial sense with the necessary guts. Here I do like to act with some level of freedom, but will always communicate clearly. From the management I expect that they provide in a framework that allows room for business development. I bring extensive experience in project management, the associated phasing and the underlying methodologies. It means that I will work in a strict procedural manner, as is typical for certification and qualification, but I will avoid the inhibiting bureaucracy. I know Lean Manufacturing, the principles of 6-sigma, and similar TQM methodologies. My involvement in various international programmes has made me flexible in terms of location; both nationally and internationally.
