Safe Zone Gunfire Detection systems provide always on, cloud enabled protective monitoring for indoor spaces like schools, offices, medical facilities, government buildings. late night retail and houses-of-worship. Utilizing machine learning, loud noises are constantly analyzed for correlation to gunfire in a model continuously expanding/improving as new customers deploy. When alarmed, the Safe Zone system conducts a series of automated actions including: alert system administrators (and chosen others like security and/or school resource officers), push button connection to 911 dispatch and automated text alerts to a preselected list of facility occupants. The automated analysis also provides key information to first responders including number of shots fired, firearm type and shooter room location overlaid on an actual facility floor plan. This is critical intelligence to aid first responders in getting safely to the gunshot victims which are 7-10% less likely to survive with the passing of every minute. The company was co-founded by audio/AV/security industry veteran, Mike Anderson. An electrical engineer by education, Mike's 30+ years experience include circuit design, mechanical packaging, product management, sales leadership and executive leadership.
