About Michael Landreth

I started my restaurant industry career with Outback Steakhouse in 2006 as a Busser and worked my way up to a Key Manager position. I was a Certified Trainer with Outback and taught the new hire classrooms in Food & Culture and also Alcohol Knowledge for hourly associates. I left Outback in 2015 to come to Fatz Southern Kitchen as a Server. While at Fatz, I worked as a Server, Bartender and Key Manager. I also had the opportunity to act as the Service Manager for 9 months taking on all FOH scheduling, Interviews, and also new hire paperwork. I began working at the Restaurant Support Center for Cafe Enterprises as the Restaurant Training Specialist in June 2017. I was promoted to Operations Excellence Manager in Oct 2018 overseeing team member training- FOH & BOH, manager professional development, Manager in Training program, recipe support, POS support with Aloha, ServSafe, and any other training inquiries.In April 2019, I began working with Grill Marks full-time, which is owned by the Larkin’s Restaurant Group, where I was the Assistant General Manager. Once Covid hit, I decided to pursue an opportunity outside of the restaurant industry. I was hired on as the General Manager of a brand new e-commerce home decor company- The Nested Fig. In our first year being open, I was able to develop a team of employees and helped grow sales to over $1.3 million for our first year. I ended up leaving The Nested Fig in January 2022 to pursue a full-time career as a Manager for The Cheesecake Factory.
