About Michael Lashley

I was a Infantry Squad Leader from March of 2007 until April of 2011 and while in this billet I have lead over 60 Marines into combat on 3 seperate deployments which include 1 tour to Iraq and 2 tours to Afghanistan. On 1 May 2011 I got stationed in Quantico, Va at Officer Candidates School as an Infantry Tactics Instructor. In this billet I have taught over Marine Corps Officer Candidates the Basics of Infantry Tactics and Techniques. Also in this billet I have become a certified Platform Instructor which is being certified in giving a professional Platform Period of Instruction by PowerPoint to an audience. I'm also a Foreign Weapons Instructor and I'm very knowledgeable in weapons utilized in infantry platoons such as: M16 A4, M4, M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, M203 Grenade Launcher, and AT4 Rocket Launcher. I'm also knowledgeable on heavy crewserved machine guns such as: M240 Bravo, M2.50 cal machine gun, and Mark 19 40mm Grenade Launcher. I can make quick decisive decision, adapt an overcome in any situation or surrounding, and I'm always ready for new challenges.
