About Michael Lawrence

Over the course of my career, whether in teaching, higher education, or consulting, I’ve learned that the most meaningful progress happens through building strong and trustworthy relationships. One of the reasons why I'm called "the glue" in my current role is because I take the time to build connections and bring clarity. My style is people-centered and always grounded in context! I try to understand the full picture behind a situation so that decisions are realistic and thoughtful. This approach has shaped everything from mentoring students at Harvard to helping organizations run more smoothly through clear and effective communication. What makes systems work, in my experience, is the people behind them. I’m always open to conversations about communication, collaboration, and building the kind of clarity that helps people and teams do their best work.
