I have spent over three decades developing methods, learning instrumentation, analyzing data in laboratories. I have recently realized that much of what I learned in the lab, applies outside the lab and have taken to documenting my thoughts in the form of an article called "Analytically Speaking". I hope to inspire people to see the value of their contributions, and use their talents in a positive way, and collaborate whenever possible. With a robust background in analytical chemistry, my tenure at CITGO has been defined by spearheading the Analytical Resources Team. Our collective efforts have significantly enhanced instrument reliability and data quality across operations. The key to our success lies in judiciously selecting cutting-edge analytical instrumentation, augmenting laboratory capabilities to support operational requirements. Previously, as a GC Specialist at ExxonMobil, I honed my skills in laboratory instrumentation and Analytical Method Development, which have been pivotal in my current role. My commitment to excellence is evident in the tailored assistance I provide to operations, ensuring their analytical needs are met with precision and the team's expertise is fully leveraged to optimize performance.
