About Michael Lee

Equipped with an unwavering dedication to data science and a deep understanding of software engineering, I am a Computer Science graduate from Stony Brook University, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. My passion lies in extracting meaningful insights from vast data sets and leveraging those insights to drive decision-making and innovation. My journey in the tech world has taken me from creating efficient back-end solutions as a Mobile App Developer at Roadrunner Project to spearheading exploratory data analysis as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook. My technical toolbelt includes, but isn't limited to, Python, SQL, Mongoose, and a variety of ML libraries, which I have utilized to drive data-centric solutions and predictive modeling. I am proud to have contributed to the creation of a full-stack mobile app, Roadrunner, and a full-stack web app, DayLogger, both of which reflect my skills in back-end development and database design. However, my skills extend beyond pure technical abilities, as demonstrated by my leadership roles within the SUNY Korea Tennis Club and as a Resident Advisor. These experiences have honed my abilities in team management, event coordination, and administrative tasks. Furthermore, my journey has provided me the opportunity to explore the intersection of technology and sustainability. Participating in SUNY Korea's annual Hackathon, I helped develop a sustainable waste management program using the MERN stack, showcasing my ability to apply tech skills to real-world, pressing issues. I'm a data enthusiast with an entrepreneur's spirit and a passion for turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. I am now seeking new opportunities to apply my data science and software engineering skills to help a forward-thinking company drive efficiency and innovation.
