I'm an Architect in Slalom Build’s Quality Engineering Practice with over 20 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on quality. My primary approach is to ensure that test automation provides maximum value to reduce risk while enabling high velocity via an athletic CI/CD pipeline. I do this by listening carefully to client needs and working closely with teammates to deliver optimal solutions for the problems at hand. Experience Agriculture, e2e Test Automation and Ecosystem Test Strategy Client urgently needed e2e test coverage of a GraphQL microservice, followed by recommendations for overall ecosystem test strategy. Developed 4 Postman collections with over 1500 assertions. Interviewed 10 teams and recommended quality engineering improvements across 3 divisions. Telecom, Reduce Manual Test Burden Client desired to keep the plane flying while modernizing their internal network infrastructure management portal. Created project test strategy and implemented test frameworks to reduce the manual regression test burden. Evangelized test automation through a series of video presentations. Finance, Full-Stack Test Automation Client wanted recommendations and guidance on automating a manual regression test suite for a document-production portal. Created recommendations including client-specific examples for UI E2E and integration tests, API tests, and contract tests.
