About Michael Leopold

Michael is the founding member of The Leopold Group at Morgan Stanley with over 30 years of investment experience. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in the early 1980’s as a trader with a main focus on precious metals. Trading exposed Michael to specific markets in gold and silver as well as the economic and banking variables that influence the world financial markets. Michael’s focus is working with multi-generational families on their long term wealth management and wealth transfer strategies; helping to protect and preserve their family lifestyles while seeking to maximize long term wealth management strategies through advanced legacy planning. He believes strongly in open and interactive financial advisor-client relationships that allow him to collaborate and coordinate the important aspects of his client’s lives – allowing them to focus on their passions and interests. In the capital markets, personal financial planning and wealth management activities are affected by many issues; understanding how to share strategies appropriately is one of Michael’s strengths.
