About Michael Lewallen
My name is Michael Lewallen. I have a 5-Year B.Eng. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with GES Minor from CSU-Fort Collins. I have a 2-Year A.S. Degree in Carpentry. I have a good deal amount of Industrial Trades/machine shop/fabrication experience from both colleges. I’m a visual thinker with experience with multiple CAD platforms (AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, CREO, etc.) so I can design in 3 Dimensional pretty well. My first passion is animation and multimedia arts. I’ve always liked Japanese/American/European-Style Cartoons and spend my freedom enjoying the stories of imaginary people. I’m a self-taught digital artist and I have intermediate-level skills. I mainly use Clip Studio Paint EX for illustrations/animation/webcomics and such. I’m learning how to use Toon Boom Harmony for 2D Animation for more workflow environments. My second passion is writing webcomics series and one of my goals as an artist is to be a professional illustrator/digital artist and a freelance animator/voice actor.
