About Michael Logue

Michael Logue is a Director, Systems Development for Pramerica Systems Ireland Limited. Mr. Logue plays a leadership role for the Individual Life Insurance (ILI) business unit and leads up a team of 70+ employees. In his current role, Mr. Logue has responsibility for multiple applications within Individual Solutions Group supporting multiple technologies with primary responsibility for Pramerica’s Managed Service Portfolio as well as being involved in a number of strategic initiatives. Prior to working with ILI, Mr. Logue supported Annuities and Group Insurance. Michael started in Pramerica in as a Systems Tester on ILI. During his ten years in QA he established the QA engagements and transitions of work with the Annuities and Group Insurance Business Units. In 2010 Michael moved to the Head of Technology role in ILI for Compensation systems building out the system ownership model. Prior to Pramerica Mr. Logue worked for 9 months as a Senior Software Tester/Systems Analyst at Access Gaming in Sydney. Prior to that Mr. Logue worked for a small software firm called InterTestTech for 2 years following 2.5 years in Dublin performing testing roles for Microsoft, Oracle and Lotus. Mr. Logue is very focused on enabling Talent and is the Executive Sponsor for Senior Technologist Advanced Mentoring Program (STAMP) and the Pramerica Technology Council (PTC) as well as multiple other mentoring programs. These niche initiatives have established a pipeline and enabled opportunities into securing application, system and enterprise architecture and technical oversight positions within multiple Business Units Mr. Logue graduated from Queens University in 1996 with a B.Sc. in Applied Computing. He is a Certified Project Management Professional. He lives in West Donegal with his wife Sally and their 5 children.
