I am a recent first-class honours graduate of the Integrated Master's course for Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering in DCU, specialising in Simulated-driven Design. My Final Year Project was titled an "Investigation of loading on buried natural gas pipes" which involved using finite element analysis (FEA) software to model the effect of traffic-induced loading and seismic loading on buried polyethylene pipes for natural gas distribution.
