Cultivating and solicitation donors for Carmel Catholic High School. I am returning to help the school from where I graduated. Roles in journalism, business entrepreneurship and as a successful advancement/fundraising executive and NFP and community leader have taught me how to develop and manage strategic relationships and use my sales acumen to communicate persuasively, gain buy-in and push forward objectives using extraordinary initiative and resourcefulness. As a Fundraising/Advancement Executive, developed a reputation as skilled in engaging donor prospects, closing gifts and advancing prospects to higher levels of giving. Reflecting my strong work ethic, I have a 30-year history of dedicated service to the community, NFP entities and professional associations. Consulted and problem solved with other NFP executives to better manage their organizations. My early career experience as a Journalist enabled me to develop critical communication skills in relationship building and interviewing, contributing to my ability to quickly establish rapport and elicit trust. Moreover, I am a skilled writer who can articulate the organization's mission in a compelling manner to a diverse audience. Finally, I’m a self-starter and growth catalyst who makes things happen and knows how to get things done through people using creativity and a strategic, collaborative approach.
