About Michael Lounello

With over 15 years of experience in live events, I’ve built a career around turning creative concepts into immersive, technically polished experiences. As Production Manager at Siena College, I lead a talented team delivering everything from theatrical productions and concerts to academic conferences and large-scale campus events. I oversee production design, AV systems, lighting, video, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination—ensuring each event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression. My work extends beyond campus, including festivals, TV shows, corporate events, and touring productions. I’ve managed crews, integrated advanced technology, and navigated the high-pressure demands of live performance. I also teach as an adjunct professor, helping students develop real-world technical skills and a passion for backstage craft. At the core of what I do is collaboration. I thrive in spaces where creative vision meets execution—bringing teams together, solving problems, and delivering exceptional experiences. I’m always open to connecting with others who share a commitment to production excellence and experience design.
