When I put my mind to it I'm a problem solver extraordinaire. While I have received actual company commendations in the past I find the challenge of solving the problems quite rewarding in it self. Some of projects I'm quite proud of include; a high value stock check system that reduced a 12 hour weekly factory stoppage to a more manageable 1 - 2 hours. Ive also written a number of post processing browser plugings that gather information from existing webpages and represents the data into more efficient forms simplifying repetitive tasks. I also enjoy coming up with "work arounds" not exactly solutions but something that will give projects momentum until the planned solution can be implemented. Some of my temporary work arounds have lasted years. My favorite form of problem to solve deals with the analog subsystem common to most if not all digital and analog systems. The human operator or customer. I really enjoy customer support. I do not believe that the customer is always right, nor do I believe that the problem exist between chair and keyboard. I believe in listening to the customer and determining if what they ask for is different from what they actually want. Then determine if what they want is different from what they need. Its the difference between a customer asking to return a tv and actually only needing to change the dead batteries in the remote.
