About Michael Lozano

I am a self-directed and creative problem solver who excels at medical leadership and management. I possess a solid foundation in clinical medicine having successfully completed residencies in both internal medicine and emergency medicine as well as a fellowship in emergency medical services (EMS). This combination has afforded me a broad understanding of acute care medicine on both an individual and community level. Since beginning clinical practice in 1994, I have been actively involved in advocacy, organized medicine, and administration. These facets of my career have crystalized into a strategic approach to healthcare delivery. I am recognized as someone who continuously seeks ways to improve on what is already extant and found a natural home in practice management. A passion for analytics and data-driven decision making led me to obtain a Masters in Health Informatics (MSHI) and am always seeking opportunities to apply informatics to improve the quality and delivery of healthcare.
