About Michael Luck
My career journey is epitomized by the common cliche,"It wasn't a case of me choosing my career, instead my career chose me". The more I study and explore the more intrigue I garner. My work is in the field human services. Since graduating from the University of Queensland, in 2004 with a Bachelor of Social Work, I have traversed the sector looking to expand my ability to be a whole practitioner for the people I work with. Currently I work in the field of Dual Diagnosis (Mental Health/Alcohol and Other Drugs) at The Prince Charles Hospital. Along side my career is have an undying passion for music and I am a founding member of two local (Brisbane) bands, Elbury and FEED, the later now defunct. Roots: Upon finishing school I gained trade qualification in Plumbing, Gas Fitting and Drainage, a qualification that keeps me humbled.
