I have a strong policy and advocacy practical experiences at multi level,including local,sub- national,national, regional and at the Pan Africa level. With empowering leadership skills and excellent ability in managing financial and multi-thematic teams, I have challenged my teams and partnerships to innovate and realized organizational goals in six(6) different International NGOs in Africa. I have facilitated and worked to influence the maternal health and nutrition policy agenda of 5 governments in West Africa through Child Health campaigns and integrated policy-program evidenced based agenda. My exposure at the Africa Union level have further strengthened my representation skills and enhanced my ability to organize and facilitate inter governmental advocacy initiatives. My Masters Education in Public Policy and Management will make me a very competitive candidate for this position. The key strengths that I possess for success in this position include-Excellent relationship building skills with policy and decision makers at multi levels to promote my organization's brands and positions on issues of children, women, girls,poor and affected populations-Experienced community and CSO mobilization skills, including excellent facilitation skills in the Rights Based Approaches to advocacy and campaigns in themes such as humanitarian education, child protection, WASH, education, and food security -Planning and executing high level policy dialogues with governments and following up on commitments and action plans-Adaptability to learning quickly and analyzing political trends for the development and implementation of advocacy strategies -Excellent skills for organizing and mobilizing constituencies to amplify their voices on local to high level political platforms, especially on poverty issues and to demand accountability-Ability to link up with colleagues in global capitals to draw linkages, build capacities and contribute to global advocacy goals.
