I am an experienced construction project manager and project superintendent committed to high quality, low costs, and optimum client satisfaction. Through thousands of hours at construction sites, I cultivated valuable, hands-on plumbing, electricity, carpentry, and framing skills that can’t be learned in the classroom. I started as a gopher, then advanced to foreman of multiple crews, and now I serve as project superintendent overseeing five multimillion-dollar commercial construction projects at once. This background gives me unique expertise in high-level problem-solving, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with our subcontractors, clients, and vendors. Key Strengths: LEADING MULTISITE TEAMS: I have successfully managed multiple framing crews located on five different worksites. My leadership approach centers on my commitment to giving my crews what they need to succeed. I’m always ready to collaborate on a difficult problem, improve an inefficient process, or get my hands dirty in order to complete the job. NEGOTIATING COST SAVINGS: I am also known for finding less expensive ways to deliver the same value. I have saved my company hundreds of thousands of dollars through price negotiations and smart hiring practices. My broad network of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers allows me to find the best price for every transaction. TEACHING AND TRAINING: Prior to my current construction career, I taught agriculture science, plumbing, and electricity to high school students. My gift for teaching was quickly recognized by my peers, and I am often asked to lead courses on workplace safety, demonstrate proper technique, or explain complex permitting or bidding processes to my direct reports.
