Michael Maley is a globally minded individual with professional experience in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, the US, Japan, and South Korea, fostering a deep understanding of international business dynamics. Graduating Cum Laude from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, with a Bachelors in Business Administration (concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship) and an Economics minor, Michael boasts a multicultural upbringing, navigating various education systems, including Flemish, British, International, and Chinese. During his university journey, Michael seamlessly integrated multiple full-time internships and co-op experiences, accumulating over a year of professional work experience before completing his undergraduate degree in just four years. His diverse internships included roles at L.E.K. Consulting, Bayer - Corporate Strategy & Business Consulting, and Microsoft. Most notably during his time at Northeastern, Michael founded and served as the president of the International Students in Business (ISIB), the largest international student organization at Northeastern University. He received the prestigious Impact Award for his efforts in establishing this organization, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to fostering an inclusive community. During his tenure in Microsoft's Finance Rotation Program (FRP), Michael embarked on a structured journey across diverse domains, honing stakeholder management skills and providing analytical support in Windows Device Partner Sales (DPS). Transitioning to Business Operations (Launch Manager), he led cross-functional teams in executing a range of launches across the globe. In Consumer Lifetime Value (LTV), Michael utilized SQL to distill telemetry data, influencing strategic decisions. Selected for MCAPS Asia, he relocated to both Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, South Korea where he helped optimized revenue strategies in the local commercial field teams. Outside of his corporate endeavors, Michael is a co-founder and Head of International Product Management at Vareli Inc, where he built a five-figure business from scratch.
