Prior to this, I served as an Electrical Field Service Technician at Powertech Labs, where I demonstrated expertise in working with high-energy electrical power sources and conducted tests on high-voltage electrical equipment. As a Field Fiber Optic Technician at TeraSpan Networks, I excelled in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber optic systems in various facilities. Proficient in splicing, cable running, and utilizing advanced tools such as fusion splicers and OTDR. Design Technician Trainee BC Hydro •Collaborate with clients to ascertain design specifications, ensuring alignment with their unique requirements. •Utilize DAD, AutoDesk Design, and Passport software to provide comprehensive technical services and streamline the design process. •Receive, review, and process reports, electrical diagrams, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. •Demonstrate proficiency in Design Overhead/Underground fundamentals and Customer Equipment and Metering requirements.
