About Michael Marmurowicz

I have spent the better part of my life in the auto racing industry with a sizeable portion of it as the Purchasing Manager for one of the largest retailers of road racing parts in the nation. All totaled, I had over twenty years of experience with this company and 40+ years in this dynamic market as a whole. A fair amount of my time has been spent working with race teams and in prep shops. Mainly road racing, but I do have experience in the drag racing arena as well. I find myself equally at home in either form of the sport and have proven to adapt quickly to anything new that is presented to me. An additional area of which I've dedicated a large portion of my career has been with the fire service. I've been honored to have been a Firefighter/EMT IV-Tech for thirteen years with the Tichigan Fire Department as their Captain and Training Officer. Continued education was paramount within this organization and in my tenure with the department I had amassed numerous certifications to help elevate my proficiency and enhance my working awareness of the job. And although this chapter of my life has come to a close, the lessons learned while working within a paramilitary organization, such as situational awareness, chain of command and personal safety, are still key components utilized in my daily life to benefit not only me, but those who I work with on a day-to-day basis. New for 2020, I've launched my latest start-up, Scrape's Garage. With an emphasis on weld art, lamps and other oddities upcycled from old automotive parts, I'm proud to announce the expansion of the line to offer unique hand made accessories for the motorcycle market.
