About Michael Mathews

I have spent the last 28 years working in the telecommunications industry for Comcast. I started in April 1995 performing installation of CATV services and in 1998 was promoted to Network maintainance where I was responsible with the maintenance and restoration of the outside cable plant coaxial and fiber network. In 2016, I took on the role of Supervisor for the Network Maintenance team serving Cape Cod and the Islands where I remained until I accepted an early retirement offer and left on March 31, 2023. Previous to my time at Comcast I worked as the Operations Manager for Lubrx Products Inc. of North Attleboro MA where I was responsible for the purchasing of raw materials, production and shipping of industrial and automotive lubricants from January 1985 to June 1993. My first job experience started in May of 1978 as a dishwasher for Pancake King inc, a small restaurant chain Located in West Yarmouth, MA where I worked in various roles throughout High school and beyond until 1984 when the business closed. Over the course of those years I also worked part time positions selling and delivering auto parts, stocking shelves in a liquor store and loading trucks in a warehouse.
