After working in the Public and Private sectors as a Structural and Civil engineer, I founded a private local Structural and Civil Engineering Consulting Engineering firm, and am still serving in that capacity to date. • Very familiar with IBC and ASCE7. • I have experience with Heavy Industrial, Multi-Family, Retail, Commercial, and Residential projects, and Telecommunications, and have utilized wood, concrete, concrete block, aluminum and steel solutions for vertical and lateral framing requirements. • Designed many concrete detention vaults as well as storm water detention systems and short plats were designed over the years, along with numerous concrete foundations for pre-fabricated metal buildings, and retaining structures, to include standard concrete retaining walls, soldier pile walls, and tieback walls. • Seismic inspections were conducted and reports written (Probable Maximum Loss) for insurance companies for a variety of multi-family, retail and commercial structures. Additionally, innumerable structural damage and structural condition reports were written for prospective buyers of personal residences and commercial properties. • Supervised and designed a proprietary design for a “post-tensioned” wood floating dock system for pleasure craft for the US Navy in the Tinian Islands. • Designed special Radar Reflecting shields for the FAA for SeaTac Airport, first of their kind in the world. • Analyzed and strengthened existing Monopole and Lattice cell towers for antenna array additions according to TIA using the tnxTower program, formerly RISA Tower. I am currently an, MVP and Fellow of the Round Table of the Engineering Tips Forums where I advise management on site operations, as well as mentor other members.
