As a Bankruptcy Compliance Specialist, I have hands on experience monitoring and analyzing bankruptcy filings across Chapters 7, 11, and 13 to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies. I review legal documents, including petitions and schedules, communicate directly with trustees and legal counsel, and track case developments to mitigate financial and legal risks throughout the process. I ensure accurate reporting and maintain detailed records in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code, FCRA, and GLBA. By coordinating with internal legal and finance teams, I support efforts to protect organizational interests and uphold creditor rights throughout complex case proceedings. I’m genuinely excited to deepen my expertise in the compliance and risk mitigation space, especially as it relates to supporting businesses in meeting regulatory obligations and protecting against operational vulnerabilities. I’m particularly drawn to the dynamic nature of the field—where legal knowledge, analytical thinking, and ethical responsibility intersect to drive organizational resilience. Currently, I’m actively pursuing my Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification to build a stronger foundation in corporate compliance frameworks and best practices, and I’m eager to apply this knowledge in real-world settings where I can contribute to responsible, risk-aware decision-making.
