My primary areas of expertise and focus include:* Corporate advisory and compliance: Advising on various legal and compliance matters, including matters involving the Corporations Act, Gaming Machines Act, Liquor Act and Registered Clubs Act.* Corporate governance: Advising on various corporate governance matters, including amendments to constitutions, the adoption of new constitutions and attending board meetings, general meetings and AGMs.* Commercial contracting and negotiation: Advising on a broad range of commercial contracts, including catering, services, employment and contractor agreements.* Club amalgamations and de-amalgamations: Advising on the club amalgamation and de-amalgamations, including the preparation of necessary documents such as MOU.* Gaming: Advising on the sale and purchase of gaming machine entitlements and gaming applications (including applications for gaming machine threshold increases and the transfer of gaming machine entitlements) and preparing Local Impact Assessments and gaming plans of management.* Liquor and licensing law: Advising on licensing applications (including applications for new licences and the transfer of existing licences, new licence authorisations and changes to boundaries of licensed premises, existing licence authorisations and licence conditions) and preparing Community Impact Statements and liquor plans of management.* Disciplinary matters: Advising on disciplinary matters between clubs and their members, including the preparation of the necessary documents.* Club diversification: Advising on club diversification projects, including non-core property declarations and club developments generally.If you require any assistance, please send me a message, email or give me a call.I look forward to hearing from you.
