About Michael McCourt

I am a graduate of the Graphic Design program at Delaware County Community College. There I developed and refined my skills in photo retouching, color correction, designing logos, posters, brochures, websites, event packages, and stationary. I am proficient with industry-standard design software including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. In selling and designing logos for local businesses I have gained experience in working closely with clients to meet deadlines and produce a product they are pleased with. As the Art Director for Music Commons I have developed my skills in working with a team and overseeing the development of the company’s website and marketing materials. I have done freelance work for the University Student Housing in West Chester. Keeping strong communication with the Marketing Manager to provide strong designs for posters, inserts, hand outs, and email send outs to promote the company. I consistently strive to deliver a focused, on target product that I can take pride in creatively while meeting the needs of my client. I am an artistic, passionate, reliable and hard working artist. I work well in a collaborative environment as well as individually. My sales experience has made me an excellent communicator, able to clearly describe a product or service and why the client would need it. I am outgoing, personable, and highly motivated to learn and grow as a designer.
