About Michael McGaugh

My name is Michael McGaugh, and I am a senior at the University of Notre Dame. In addition to my major in Finance, I am taking on minors in Real Estate and Theology. I am also grateful to be part of the 2023-2024 cohort of the Business Honors Program in the Mendoza College of Business and to serve as president of Notre Dame's Real Estate Club.Throughout my progression in life both as a student and as a person, I have found there are three virtues that I hold close: the ability to lead others in times of need, the ability to persist despite failure, and the ability to adapt in the face of uncertainty.Leadership, persistence, and adaptability are elements of my lifestyle which I strive to uphold in my studies, my work, and every opportunity that I encounter.In addition to these values, I believe that becoming a global citizen is of great importance. My passion for travel is immense and I have been blessed with numerous opportunities to see the world. To date I have been to 21 different countries. I hope to continue to increase my knowledge of the world through travel in my future career and during my time as a student at Notre Dame. I recently had the opportunity to study through the university’s abroad program in Bangkok, Thailand.I am always open to meeting new people and exploring new possibilities.God bless, and go Irish!
