About Michael McGraw
With over 18 years experience conducting and designing wildlife surveys and ecological investigations, I have had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of conditions, ecosystems, and land use types for a host of clients. While my primary focus/experience is with vertebrate fauna in eastern US, I have worked on projects in southern, midwestern, and western states as well as Canada and Hawaii. In addition to vertebrates, I have experience in training, studying and conducting surveys for Federally Endangered and other rare/declining insects, other invertebrates (aquatic and terrestrial), and plants. I am currently working full-time as a regional manager and senior wildlife biologist at Applied Ecological Services and have the great pleasure of teaching an Ornithology class for the MES program at University of Pennsylvania. Specialties: Study design and implementation for project-specific biological survey needs. Reptiles, amphibians, and birds are my primary interests.
