About Michael McManus

I am a digital consultant with a passion for making sure real people are consulted throughout the strategy, planning and build phases of any digital endeavour. I help organisations through the strategic or incremental improvement of their digital presences. I come from a communications background and have extensive experience in government, NFP, community and commercial sectors. For the last 10 years I have been working as a freelance consultant, often for the Melbourne-based company Briarbird & Co. The things you will often find me working on- Researching, consulting and planning to help define digital services, projects or products in large organisations with complex needs - Designing, planning, running, synthesising results and fully documenting customer experience and user research projects so that great digital experiences can be built - Helping define the scope, cost a best approach to market for organisations who are looking to buy in digital services to meet their needs - Working collaboratively with many people from many different backgrounds and organisations to help achieve our common goals. I am currently based in Belgium, but am working on projects with people from across the globe.
