About Michael McQueen

As a Senior Manager UK Artificial Intelligence Strategy at HSBC, I work with the bank's leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement a vision and roadmap for leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance the bank's performance, efficiency, and innovation. I also collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the alignment and integration of the bank's AI strategy with the latest industry trends and best practices.I have recently completed a PhD at the University of Liverpool Management School, where I was a part of the Leverhulme Research Centre, a multidisciplinary team of scholars and practitioners who explore the impact of intelligent technologies on the future of work, society, and economy. My more recent research focuses on how AI is transforming the nature and value of expert work, and how organisations and workers can adapt and thrive in this changing landscape.
