About Michael Mehta

With over 6 years of experience in data science and engineering, I am passionate about solving complex problems and delivering impactful solutions in the electric vehicle (EV) domain. I lead customer acquisition analytics for the smart-city traffic business vertical at GEOTAB, where I showcased our platform's capabilities by designing custom analyses for prospective customers and training team members on the backend math and APIs. I also spearhead the development of machine learning models and pipelines that estimate battery capacity, state of health, and range of EVs across different climates. I am a named inventor on a patent application for this work, which was integrated into the company's tools to increase accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, I designed and maintained a supply chain monitoring tool to facilitate the integration of an acquisition. I enjoy collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in the EV industry.
