About Michael Mex

As Group Director Project Qualification at Wilo, I am responsible for the approval of electronic and mechanical components and products used in the water, wastewater, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors. I have been part of the Wilo team since 2008 and have more than 16 years of experience in the qualification of innovative and sustainable solutions. My core competencies are in the central process and specification development, the coordination and harmonisation of worldwide testing activities, the transfer of product requirements into corresponding tests and compliance with test coverage. I lead a qualified and motivated team of engineers and technicians who are constantly undergoing further training and optimisation. I am also responsible for the development of test bench technologies that enable cost and time reduction and ensure product and process quality. My goal is to increase customer satisfaction and Wilo's market position by providing high-quality and reliable products.
