About Michael Meyers

Mr. Meyers is currently a Competency Supervisor at NIWC Charleston. Previously held the TacMobile ILS IPT lead position, responsibilities include Life Cycle Logistics, and Acquisition and Sustainment Logistics Management activities. Acquisition and Sustainment Logistics Management includes post-fielding budgeting and funding, design interface, supportability performance monitoring and analysis, Performance Based Logistics (PBL) management, update and revision of ILS strategy and products as the result of design updates, ongoing DMSMS, and the resourcing, management, and execution of end of life/disposal functions. Life Cycle Logistics includes Logistics Design Influence, ILS Planning, Product Support & Sustainment (less in-service or sustaining engineering), Supportability Analysis and logistics-related Reliability & Maintainability Analysis, and all ILS program documentation. Mr. Meyers has over 30 years of problem solving, management and leadership experience in the Department of Defense in the fields of aircraft operations, shipboard operations, Radar, Electronic Support Measures (ESM), Acoustic analysis, Search and Rescue (SAR) and Command and Control, Communications, Computers, Information and Combat Systems (C4I and CS). Strong interpersonal skills, as well as experience in developing and implementing training and personnel development programs. Mr. Meyers has experience in the operation, integration, training and management of a variety of systems ranging from electronics to tactical computer systems.
