About Michael Morales

I help Product teams make complex systems feel simple Over the past decade, I’ve led design efforts for enterprise and B2B products—turning complex workflows into clear, usable experiences from early discovery through shipped solutions. Current Focus- Designing interconnected CRM ecosystems on ServiceNow. These applications share data and need to work together seamlessly. My job is making sure users can transition between them without even thinking about it- I'm also on a relentless quest to understand how AI can actually improve workflows, not just automate them. Finding the right balance between intelligence and usability. What I value- Understanding the problem first: Before touching any design tools I start by gaining understanding on what problems are present and which ones to focus on. I aim to find the gap between misaligned priorities and workflows that don't match reality- Working collaboratively: Getting alignment is more than half the problem in many cases. I look to work closely with stakeholders and the product teams to build the bridge between possibilities and the business reality- Moving fast with intention: I lean on user research and modern tools to make informed decisions quickly to keep momentum. This allows me to validate quickly that we are indeed focusing on the correct problems - Continuous learning: Staying curious. I am on top of emerging tools, methods, and best practices while still leaning on proven approaches. I want to know what's possible so I can apply what actually works.
