About Michael Morini

Michael is an aspiring individual who has a passion and desire to excel in the sport industry. Michael is a very diligent worker who is willing to do anything necessary for the benefit of the organization. His time in sports started in high school when he started with the San Rafael Pacifics Baseball Club all the way until he finished with the organization as a front office intern specializing in marketing and advertising. His career goal is to work in the front office of a professional sports team while being able to help those in the community through the mutual love of sports. Based on his past internships and jobs he understands the dedication of time and effort full-time employees in sports must utilize. Michael realizes how sports can change the lives of individuals and provide a sense of hope and direction to anyone who seeks it. Michael has held a multitude of roles for a variety of organizations through many different job titles. Some of the skills that he possesses are: social media development, event management and planning, sales, customer services, and data and statistical analysis. Michael helped produce Caltopia 2018, at UC Berkeley as the Marketing, Communications, and Business Development Intern. He worked with sponsors by developing contracts and creating activations that were specific to each sponsors product. Since November of 2016, Michael has worked with the Oakland Athletics working in customer service and has developed his skills enough to become a gameday supervisor. Michael has continued to produce marketing plans for Saint Mary’s College’s Athletic Department and oversees the fan experience on gameday for a variety of sports on campus, including but not limited to: men and women’s basketball, volleyball, and men and women’s soccer. Michael obtained his Masters in Sports and Recreational Management in the Summer of 2019. He is currently the Assistant Athletics Director of Finances and Operations at Academy Art of Undersity (NCAA Division II).
