About Michael Mortell

Like to believe I did this the "Right Way". Am 4th Generation to work in the piping industry. Earned my book through UA Apprentice training in St. Paul MN. Earned my Baccalaureate and Master's Degrees while working in the field as a Foreman, GF, Superintendent, and General Superintendent. Began office work as a Consultant for NRG, then as a Project Manager/Estimator for the John E Green Company in Detroit. My primary project while there was the HVAC remodel of the Renaissance Center in Detroit (aka General Motors World Headquarters). Have also worked for Johnson Controls, Bechtel, Kiewit, Turner Construction, Siemens, INTEL-Basically anyplace that needed someone who understands pipe sciences/chemical sciences, and the development of the most complex piping/mechanical systems on Earth. Today I added the PMP Certification to my resume'. My goal with all this is to eventually add a PhD, while continuing to help these great companies grow, and help the people of the World to live better lives. It is my motivation everyday when I wake up, and the thought that drives me to achieve.
