Logistics Analysts: Conducts logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability and operational analyses and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training and SE systems. Analyzes logistics, maintenance, supply, and total ownership cost data to recommend the most cost effective maintenance concepts and sustainment strategies, identify supportability issues, or evaluate ECP's. Specific functions include: RCM analysis/data collection techniques, improve O-Level corrosion prevention, inspection, detection, and repair technologies, and improve aircraft material condition while reducing In-Service Repair (ISR) costs, Planner and Estimator (P&E) cost and IMC turnaround time.
