Michael has over 35 years experience in Ireland and the UK managing commercial contracts. Trained originally with major UK contractors: Mansell (Balfour Beatty), Norwest Holst (Vinci) and Willmott Dixon, Michael has a wealth of contracting experience as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and considerable practical arbitration experience; he has acted as expert witness on time and quantum issues and has provided professional advice and services to clients in the construction, infrastructure, transport and rail, bridge-building and civil engineering, mechanical and electrical, ship refurbishment, gas and petrochemical and defence electronics sectors. Michael is particularly skilled in the resolution of problematic commercial matters for complex construction and engineering projects.
