About Michael Munk

Hi, Passionate about bioscience and environmental management and monitoring, I consider myself a skilled academic craftsman continuously adding on a solid basis of experience with Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing. Research interests- Geographic information systems (GIS)- Remote sensing - Geospatial analysis - Vegetation indicies - Social Media Mining (Data mining)- LiDAR data - Digital terrain analysis and modelling - Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAVs) I have worn a number of hats- Doing field work, research and projects- Coordinate and manage part-time employees in two different companies- Being a tourleder in East Africa and an authorized teambuilding instructor in Denmark. As a result, I have the ability to manage multidisciplinary projects across cultures, and quickly fit in a professional team of specialists. I have achieved to - Advise management of urban areas in East Africa- Manage and coordinate 30+ employees- Facilitate improvements of teamwork and leadership in a number of Danish companies, and concurrently leading people on their once-in-a-lifetime safari adventure. My passion is to unfold my creativity in a working team. I love to focus my energy and professional expertise in an solid work environment that is both challenging and inspiring.
