Howdy! I am a very task focused person. I like to complete things and check them off as done and move on to the next task. I have also been able to juggle long term projects while getting the short tasks done. In addition I am excellent at prioritizing and making decisions on my own about what needs to be done and when. I work very well with little or no supervision. I have had success as a team leader and manager as well. I have handled budgets, inventory, documentation, purchasing, billing and long term project planning. I have supported many existing networks. I have helped merge networks when business units combined. I have also been heavily involved in the building of new networks and on-site construction projects. Whether that meant I was asked for advice, or I actually was the project manager in charge of the specs for the server and MDF and IDFs as well as supervising the construction phases and ensuring the needs of IT were met to our specifications so that we could provide the infrastructure necessary to support the people to be placed in those new areas and/or buildings. Specialties: Project management. Network closet wiring cleanups. Problem solving, very solid logic and troubleshooting skills. Learning new software and hardware as needed. A great example of this is learning to manage a Nortel PBX system in a college campus environment with little to no formal education on the Nortel systems to the level of being able to trouble shoot and resolve over 90% of all problems I encountered in my tenure at that position without 3rd party help.
