About Michael Navarre
My experience started as a staff appraiser for a major bank in 1980, before joining our family business in 1982. My father, James R Navarre Jr, began his career in the appraisal business in 1959. In 1990, I acquired the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute, a prominent organization and leader in the appraisal industry. The SRA designation was the culmination of 3 years of appraisal specific education; experience credit reviews; and finalized with a skill test via two demonstration appraisal reports reviewed by accomplished members of the Appraisal Institute. In 1991, I tested with the state of Michigan licensing board and received the highest level appraisal license available - Certified General Appraiser. I am also an approved appraiser with FHA. From my location near the center of Oakland County (Clarkston), and its proximity to rural, suburban and urban settings, I've acquired a skill set spanning a diversity of property types, including acreage, luxury class housing, lake fronts and condominiums. Clients include Attorneys, Accountants, Realtors, and individuals.
