About Michael Neville

I have 26 years of experience in the acquisition, site management, and analysis of geologic data. I have provided geological mapping support for tunnels and water conveyance infrastructure projects. My work history includes energy mineral and commodities exploration including uranium, coal, potash, oil sands, and conventional oil with well site geological monitoring and project management support. I am currently providing GIS and reservoir characteristics consulting services for compliance with the safety protocols of the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) and the California Energy Management Division (CalGEM). This work also involves the interpretation of legacy well logging suites for the calculation and interpretation of Rw, Sw, and Salinity utilizing the SSP Method to facilitate the protection of underground storage drinking water (USDW) resources. I have recently obtained my sUAS Part 107 Remote Pilot license and deployed manual and semi-autonomous drone operations for real estate overviews, agricultural assessment, and construction monitoring. I am preparing to get my Level 1 sUAS Thermography Certification in late summer 2021. I have a track record of providing high quality geologic evaluations and project support. I enjoy challenging work and dynamic learning experiences. I am interested in using and enhancing my geospatial skill set to better understand human, industrial, and natural impacts on the environment so we can enable the conservation of the world we leave for our children.
