Mike has over 14 years’ experience working as a Structural Engineer, on predominantly commercial buildings and retail projects. He has experience in a wide range of project environments ranging from new build, refurbishment, and maintenance work on retail, residential, rail, airport, hospital, schools and court buildings, including multi-story structures and stadium projects. Qualifications Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers BEng (Hons) Structural Engineering with Architecture - 2002 Key skills Specilise in steel and concrete design for building structures. Division BIM champion. Team leader for introduction of Eurocodes. Track record of team ladership and project dilivery. Experienced in timber and masonry design. Competent use of Revit and AutoCAD. Experienced in the use of a number of design packages, including: Staad, CSC design suite, Etabs. Past Committee Member of the Lancashire and Cheshire Branch of the IStructE Special areas of expertise – steel design, steelwork connection design, secondary and architectual steelwork, site engineer, computer analysis and BIM, structural surveys, works to existing structures.
