As an Atlanta native, Michael draws much of his creative inspiration from growing up in the south. His filmmaking approach is an invitation for audiences to immerse themselves in the worlds he creates on screen, evoking genuine emotions. Michael's distinct cinematic style is intentionally designed to capture and portray fond memories, ensuring that his work stands the test of time. As a multi-disciplinary filmmaker with a musical background, Michael's creative journey began as a percussionist at the age of five. His deep appreciation for music and rhythm has endowed him with a deep understanding of how melody and timing profoundly impact human emotions. This musical influence permeates his films, providing a strong foundation for the themes that underpin his unique storytelling style. Michael's entry into filmmaking originated from his passion for skateboarding, dedicating numerous hours behind the camera with friends to capture the vibrant culture and lifestyle of the sport. These early experiences began to shape the vision of his creative voice. With over two decades of professional experience, Michael has dedicated himself to his craft, working behind the camera for renowned brands such as LG, Chick-fil-A, Meta, and AIRBUS. Michael's efforts and pursuit of his passion have earned him a Telly Award recognizing his excellence in Cinematography and Editing. ​Today, Michael resides with his family just north of Atlanta, where he remains dedicated to discovering and sharing great stories through film.
