About Michael Nieddu

43 Years and counting serving Catholic Education missions since graduation from Penn State in 1972 with Education degree. I also hold a Masters Degree in Administration from Temple University to add to my Education credentials. I was a Classroom teacher, preferably Junior High until accepting in 1989 a position as combined Development and Athletic Director at Cardinal Brennan High School in Fountain Springs, PA, where I served until the school's unfortunate closing in 2007. At that point, I accepted a new position as Development Director and Grades K through 8 Physical Education teacher at Trinity Academy Catholic School in Shenandoah, PA, where I have remained to the present. As Development Director in 2 schools since 1989, I have helped to raise over a million dollars to assist with scholarship and educational budget items revenue. I am very proud of the fact that my most recent effort in charge of the new Major Gifts segment of Trinity Academy's Annual Appeal has resulted in solicititation of almost a figure that has pleasantly surpassed the campaign's budgeted Major Gifts goal for the 2014-15 school year. Upon probable full-time retirement in 2016, I am interested in securing a part-time position in the Education, Athletic Business or Development fields. My expertise in marketing, fundraising and public speaking skills have served me well throughout my busy career, but I am looking to scale back and have more time available for FAMILY FIRST and perhaps and occasional Round of Bad Golf!
