I am the Market Access Director at Abbott Diabetes Care with responsibilities to secure market access, coverage and reimbursement for ADC products and services with payers across Asia Pacific.Previous roles have been:Director, Outcomes & Evidence, Global Health & Value with responsibility for the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare business.Vice President at Percipient LLC, a focused market access and pricing consultancy for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.Vice President, Global Health Outcomes & Pricing, in the Pfizer Nutrition Business Unit based in Madison, NJ, USA and then Nestlé (when the business unit was acquired). This role melded an evidence-based, healthcare perspective on value creation and price optimization for consumer goods business that mostly comprised infant nutrition. I also had responsibility for the Opinion Leader Relations & Advocacy team to provide market shaping activities for new product launches and leverage customer/market insights to drive strategy.I was previously Director of Corporate Affairs & Health Strategy at Wyeth Australia, with responsibility for a multi-functional team that included Health Outcomes, Reimbursement, Pricing, Government & Community Relations, Health Policy, Media & Communications, Health Strategy, Tenders, Project Management and Business Development. This business included both small molecule pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, vaccines and nutritional businesses.After completing a BSc and PhD at the University of Melbourne, Australia, I completed a Health Economics qualification and have 17+ years of industry experience with BMS, GSK, Wyeth, Pfizer, Nestlé & Abbott. My roles have primarily involved market access, health economics, outcomes research, pricing and reimbursement-related policy.I have extensive experience in building product value, by enhancing product-related health outcomes via clinical trial designs and economic evidence, to subsequently drive in-market access and pricing.
