Supervising staff and exam projects within the Exam Development unit. Track exam development progress and use monthly analytics to better inform exam processes and to improve reporting metrics. Analyze confidential bureau metrics, including data regarding gender/ethnicity of exam applicants and takers and data related to the performance of examinations and examination items. Research and propose innovative examining techniques/methodologies to bureau leadership and work with vendors who provide this service to the Bureau; trains staff and implement new testing methodologies with other Deputies within the Exam Development Unit. Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff assigned to the Exam Development unit. Provide training and career development to examiners. Provide guidance in test development and analytics to staff. Provide testing expertise to business partners within DCAS IT in order to develop and maintain testing and support systems. Assist Senior Director of Examinations and Classification with running of the unit and act in that capacity when necessary. Work with the Director of Contract Management to assist contracted vendors with the exam development process.
